Residents of each community in Bentsen Palm Development also enjoy “private amenities,” such as pools, clubhouses, and/or fitness centers. These “residents only” facilities provide many opportunities for families to Play Here at Bentsen Palm, right outside their front door.

Pools
Each Bentsen Palm community enjoys its own private pool, sometimes more than one. Picture yourself cooling off with friends or just lounging around enjoying the beautiful South Texas weather.

Playgrounds and Sports Fields
Tanglewood’s community park offers soccer fields, lighted basketball courts and playground equipment for all ages. Bentsen Palm Community Park, built by the City of Mission on land donated by Rhodes Enterprises, is the largest public park and sports complex in the Rio Grande Valley. Bentsen Palm Develpment families can enjoy basketball, soccer, baseball, fishing and lots of opportunities to interact with nature.

Hike and Bike Trails
Bentsen Palm Development’s 10+ miles of hike and bike trails connect the communities to one another and to the hike and bike trails built by the City of Mission at the new Bentsen Palm Community Park.

Clubhouses
A beautiful private clubhouse is available at each Bentsen Palm Community. Tanglewood residents shade themselves and friends under beautiful palapas while enjoying a cook-out or quick game of basketball. Retama Village residents meet new friends at the luxurious Retama Club. Bentsen Palm Village RV Resort residents regularly meet at their clubhouse for pizza and margarita nights, ice cream socials, and game nights.

Fitness Rooms
Residents of each Bentsen Palm community can stay active, both indoors and outdoors. Each community offers a fitness room, complete with treadmills, exercise equipment and even televisions to watch while you work-out.

Craft Rooms
You do not have to leave your crafting at home. Both Retama Village and Bentsen Palm RV Resort provide air conditioned spaces perfect for working on your favorite craft and many rooms even have storage space to keep everything close by.

Woodshop
Bentsen Palm Village RV Resort is very fortunate to be able to provide its residents with the opportunity to work, individually or with our expert woodworkers, on special projects for home or family.
