Bentsen Palm Development is located in South Mission, Texas, at the entrance to Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park. We are within minutes of high-end retail shopping in McAllen and Mission, outlet shopping in Mercedes, and the beautiful beaches of South Padre Island via U.S. Highway 83 (Expressway 83), our East-West travel corridor.

Offering opportunities for international travel to our communities, Bentsen Palm Development is only 3 miles west of the newly constructed Anzalduas International Bridge. This international port-of-entry provides major access to the northern Mexico transportation routes. Traffic from the development will access this important port via the improvements planned for Military Highway and to be completed by December of 2010. The planned industrial and commercial sites in Bentsen Palm Development will be located less than 10 minutes from the Anzalduas International Bridge when these roadway improvements are completed.

North Directions:

Coming from the North, use U.S. Hwy 281 South or U.S. Hwy 77 South to U.S. Hwy 83 (Expressway 83).

Go West on Expressway 83 to Mission.

Exit Los Ebanos Road. Los Ebanos Road crosses Expressway 83 via an overpass.

Proceed South on Los Ebanos Road for approximately 1/2 mile until Los Ebanos Road dead-ends at Mile 1 South (Mission ISD school will be on your right at the intersection of Los Ebanos Road and Mile 1 South).

Turn right (West) on Mile 1 South and proceed to Inspiration Road (signage for Bentsen Palm Development will direct you to turn South (left) at this intersection).

Turn left/South on Inspiration Road and proceed 2 miles, passing Bentsen Palm Community Park, the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery and a small fishing lake (curve in road to right). Inspiration Road dead-ends at the intersection of Inspiration Road and Military Highway.

At Military Highway, turn right (West) and follow Bentsen Palm Development signage to Bentsen Palm Drive and our communities.

East Directions

Coming from the East, use US. Hwy 83 West (Expressway 83 West) to Mission.

Exit Los Ebanos Road. Los Ebanos Road crosses Expressway 83 via an overpass.

Proceed South on Los Ebanos Road for approximately 1/2 mile until Los Ebanos Road dead-ends at Mile 1 South (Mission ISD school will be on your right at the intersection of Los Ebanos Road and Mile 1 South).
